The Kardashian sisters and their family (including the crazy-faced yet lovable step-father Bruce Jenner) have taken reality TV by surprise when their reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians"
The series debuted on E! on 14th October 2007 and has recently premiered its second season. The season premiere attracted an audience of 1.4 million viewers. The show won its time slot among women 18-35 during its pilot season, which gave the network enough grounds to renew it for yet another run. The series is a joint venture between Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim-Murray Productions.
The show throws a glance at the daily family life of 26-year old socialite, actress, model and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian, the daughter of the former defense attorney Robert Kardashian. The main stars are the sisters of the clan: Kim, Kylie, Khloe, Kendall and Kourtney. Yes, all their names begin with the letter K. The show also documents the private lives of the Kardashian family. What better formula for ratings success?
